God’s other book: Morning meditation partners

One of my favorite rituals for more than a quarter century has been morning meditation. If nice weather beckons, I may stroll around my backyard. Or I may settle in my recliner in front of the fireplace with a cup of coffee or tea by my side while observing nature through our picture window. Either way, I’ve got plenty of morning meditation partners to inspire me, regardless of the season.

  1. What a beautifully insightful post! I love how you explore the nuances of connection and mindfulness in our daily lives. It reminds me of the transformative experiences at the Burning Man Festival, where creativity and community come together in such profound ways. 3. Morning meditations are da bomb!

In my experience, the quality in your images comes only when there is a true energetic sympatico between photographer and subject ~ as if your love literally draws their beauty through the lens…

  5. Love this! My special place for that kind of thing is either next to the ocean or in the middle of a forest. Mountains are good, too. Unfortunately, in DFW, there are none of those. So I get away to them whenever I can. There is a place we try to get to, at least once a year, about 90 minutes from here, where there are some cabins on a small river. I love sitting on the deck in the giant rocking chair doing my morning meditations.
