Pete continues to recuperate from chemotherapy and heal from the surgery he had earlier this spring. Though he’s had a couple more hospital stays to address complications, he’s hopefully starting to mend.
Meanwhile, I’ve begun cardiac rehab therapy, and family and friends have been wonderfully supportive, sending lots of healing wishes and delicious meals our way.
They’ve also been filling our Facebook pages with cute kitty photos and baby goat videos to keep our spirits up. Plus a few bad puns, because they know a certain someone in this household loves them.
So I can’t resist sharing some of my favorites.

We’ve also got our own sweet furry comforter. Champie has been through a lot, with sudden absences on our part happening for repeated hospital stays. He seems to have figured out that we do come back, though. Thank God for this little guy.

Of course, continued prayers are always welcome and appreciated!
Such a precious post! I pray for your beautiful “Champie”’s name to be yours too, and that you’ll bring much glory to God through your steadfastness and love.
❤️Michele

I laughed when that cute goat crowded his way into the parade of kittens! “Hey. I am just as cute!” May you both continue to heal and stay nestled in God’s loving arms.

The healing is slow, but hopefully progress is happening.

Praying for both of you as you face these health challenges. I’m thankful God’s creation of animals sure does provide some great smile-therapy in the midst. Love those goat pics! We just added goats to our little acreage about a month ago. I’ll try to send a video link of two of them playing last night. They keep me amused and feeling blessed as I observe their quirky behavior. https://share.icloud.com/photos/08edeztdgPy12_RVNlhXlmqyw

She is!! Guess I’ve known them to be stubborn … but I like your word choice of “persistent” better! 😃❤️

Praying for you both as I went through Chemo and Radiation a couple years back. There is nothing like a great pet to realize just how blessed we are in this life. They give love so unconditionally!! God Bless!!

The baby goat is my favorite but any cute fuzzy is helpful when going through tough times. I hope you are both continuing to mend.

What fabulous photos! I think of you and Pete often, keeping both of you in prayer. I am hoping Sr. Bernice contacted you about Sr. Kathleen Cour. We discussed letting you and Pete know. She was going to call you. An unbelievable trauma for all of us. Her Visitation and Funeral are next Wednesday. The obituary has been on our website and is on my Facebook. It will be in the paper next week. The services are open to the public. Take care of yourself. The cardiac rehab is a blessing and a trauma! Give my greetings to Pete.
